I want Call of Duty: Black Ops II on Nintendo Switch this Christmas

I remember my excitement when I found out Call of Duty: Black Ops II was released on the Wii U. There was no DLC, but that didn’t stop my friends and I from playing TranZit every day after school and on weekends. Although that map is looked upon unfavorably by many, it will always have a special place in my heart. I also played Call of Duty: Ghosts on Wii U, so you can imagine my surprise when the Nintendo Switch became a smash hit console, but Activision seemingly wanted nothing to do with the system when it came to the CoD franchise. I was not expecting Black Ops Cold War or Vanguard to be ported to the Nintendo Switch, but older games, or even a smaller scale game made for the Switch would have been both a profitable move, and one that would have satisfied my appetite for portable CoD greatly.
Next year will mark the tenth anniversary for Call of Duty: Black Ops II and ten years since I used a wind turbine in a bank vault to access the Pack-a-Punch. Nostalgia is popular amongst videogame fanatics, and emotional compilation videos with Black Ops II: Multiplayer and Zombies maps are hard to dodge on YouTube or Tik Tok. This has opened a great opportunity for the Call of Duty franchise to capitalize on nostalgia and re-release a classic game on a system with a consumer base that will deeply appreciate it. It even occurs to me that Call of Duty: Black Ops II could probably be released at full price on the Switch (without being remastered or remade), and still maintain solid sales figures.
IT IS TIME FOR CALL OF DUTY TO COME TO THE NINTENDO SWITCH
There are many great alternatives for ways Call of Duty could land on the Nintendo Switch, and I think it is about time that one is chosen if Black Ops II is not an option for whatever reason. For example, the Zombies mode or Multiplayer mode of any classic Call of Duty game could be released on its own for a smaller price (or free, with microtransactions), and there would still be intense buzz generated. As another example, a brand-new Call of Duty game that is cartoonish or stylized differently to suit the Nintendo Switch’s inferior hardware would be a great pick. There are many alternatives, but in my heart, I desperately want Black Ops II announced for Christmas this year so I can play with my friends like the good old days.
