Critics and Fans Are Divided Over the New Love, Death & Robots Season

As of today, Love, Death & Robots: Volume 2 has a rating of 100% on Rotten Tomatoes by critics with only 48% approval by users.

While 6 critics on the review-aggregation website have overwhelmingly acclaimed the new volume of Netflix’s animated anthology series, most of the 240 users on the platform have shown less enthusiasm for the show.

Disappointed fans of the series took to Twitter to express their disappointment with the second volume.

One fan tweeted that they were mad about being excited for the show’s grand return.

Another fan tweeted that they felt their standards were too high after the first season that they felt was better.

Alternatively, a professional critic who reviewed Love, Death & Robots positively, tweeted that they, unlike the majority of viewers, felt the second season was better than the first.

Division between critics and fans has become more common over the years on websites like Rotten Tomatoes.

The polarizing second season of Love, Death & Robots was released on March 14th this year and another season has been scheduled for a 2022 release.
