Popular Dungeon Master to Appear on Dragon Talk Podcast
High profile Brisbane-based Dungeon Master (DM) Matthew Ford will appear on an official Dungeons and Dragons (D&D) podcast, Dragon Talk, recording the episode on the 21st of April.
Dragon Talk is hosted by Greg Tito and Shelly Mazzanoble, who also serve as executive producers of the podcast along with Wizards of The Coast, and the segment that Matthew Ford will be appearing on will be called “How to be a DM.”
Ford is featured in the Dungeons and Dragons show Courage and Chaos that is hosted by the media production company Spool.
In an exclusive interview with Misfit Media, Ford said that he wanted to use his time on the podcast to talk about inclusivity and D&D for extremely new players.
“If you have people who have no idea what a DM does or what an RPG is, how do you get them in the bottom floor and leave nobody behind?”
Though yet to become official, Ford was on the show Courage and Chaos when the world record for most people playing D&D under one DM was broken at a tally of 55.
The D&D official podcast Dragon Talk is long standing, with over 300 episodes, and over 700 ratings on Apple Podcasts.
